Cake with the sprinkles May 2023
Saranghae, 1998 written, directed, produced. An independent feature film exploring a
complex romance between Bri and Alex, a black and Asian interracial couple. Their
relationship creates friction between the two families and also examines the sometimes
tense relationship between the black and Asian community.
Losing it, 2012 written, directed, produced. An independent short, prequel to the novel
Passing Through Crazy. A couple get together for an illicit rendezvous only to have
the day ruined by a manic episode.
Behind the Shade – A documentary : A look into the traumatic origins of skin tone and shade within the African-American community.
The Singles short : A couple goes on what is expected to be a romantic getaway to a cabin in the woods with unexpected results.
The Chick Friends Rules YA novel series,
The four series novel spans Freshman year through Senior year. It tells a story from the
unique perspective of Grant, a black teenager living in a predominantly white middle class suburb. We empathize with his growing pains, as he navigates his first love, his family drama, and being the “token” black friend in his circle.
Passing Through Crazy,
Is a LGBTQ+ novel which follows the unusual love story between three unlikely characters; Clover, Jeff, and Clark. Passing is a world of self-discovery, and mental
health.

An abused husband and non-binary person meet on a dating app and spend the most
intense, confrontational, surprising, and beautiful 11 hours together.
UPON MY DEATH

A well-educated African-American gay man with no children inherits a sizable estate
from his lover and spends years doling out money and emotional support to his loved
ones with a false equivalency to love, respect, and loyalty.
